Who we are

Our story’s simple. We’re a recruitment agency that helps people create, develop and grow. Since 2004, we have worked with the best agencies, creatives and developers across the North, helping people into full time, part time and freelance roles in the creative and digital industries.

We're not just a recruitment business, we're a people business. We're all about building relationships and getting to know you so we can find the job or person that's really right. We're definitely not big fans of the bombardment approach where agencies throw loads of people at a role and hope one sticks. That's just not us. We get to know everyone on both sides and then we only send people who truly fit.

Our clients use us because we find them the best talent across the North to fill their jobs. Candidates work with us because we provide exciting opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise know about and offer friendly and helpful guidance at every stage of the process.

How we do it

We’re resourceful. What we mean by that is we know what needs to happen to get the job done. We know the ins and outs of recruiting for the creative and digital sector and will always try to find the best match for both candidates and clients. There aren’t many situations we haven’t encountered over the past 15 years!



We find the right creative people for each job we handle. We do it by researching our clients and understanding their roles. We also get to know our candidates and what they’re really wanting from their next job. Finding the right match isn’t always easy but we’re always trying our hardest to get it spot on. 



We’re down to earth recruiters who’ll tell you everything you need to know. Straight talking means we’re open, honest and at times, direct.  It’s this type of approach you’ll appreciate when making your next career move or hiring your next creative genius.




Whether we get you an interview or simply give you amazing career advice we will always deliver something to our candidates and clients. Our team at The Book are dedicated to listening, learning and delivering throughout the recruitment process.



We work together. If you're not suitable for one role, we'll look at what skills you have that may be suitable for others. We'll even ask our sister company Network Marketing which of their opportunities might suit. We’ve got all the bases covered!
