Designer - Packaging

c. £28,000
Manchester

Are you a Packaging Designer looking for your next challenge? We are proud to be working with an award winning Packaging Design studio in Manchester who are continually growing and winning new business.

They select the best talent and are currently looking for people who are hungry to learn and progress within a busy agency environment. You‘ll get the opportunity to work with some great FMCG and Retail brands.

Job Description:

As a Packaging Designer you‘ll also love sketching out your ideas and following them through to fruition, with the end game to see them on–shelf in some of the top retailers in the UK and US.

You‘ll be expected to attend briefings and discuss project ideas, liaise with the photographers and art direct shoots. As a Senior Designer you‘ll mentor the more junior members of the team and offer inspiration, following trends and taking a genuine interest in the FMCG/Retail sector.

You‘ll sketch out your packaging design ideas to a very high quality and follow these through to digital versions.

You‘ll be super organised and have the ability to work on multiple projects at any one time.

What We‘re Looking For:

First and foremost you must have a portfolio with a strong packaging design element (including high quality scamps).

Some product art direction is a plus and we are looking for people who have ideally worked within an agency.

Naturally strong Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator skills are a must, along with a positive attitude and hard work ethic!
