The main purpose of the role is to buy the print for the production of Catalogues, Direct Mail, Posters and Flyers, managing the team responsible for the print production process, forming great relationships with all involved, internally and externally.
You‘ll ensuring the finished product meets costs and deadlines. You will manage the quality control process ensuring all printed material meets agreed specifications. You will source reliable suppliers ensuring maximum service at the most effective cost to the business. Experience of creating tenders is essential, as is the ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
The Print Buying and Production Manager is an integral part of the team. You will be responsible for:
" Print Buying
" Print Production
" Managing the Postal and Mailing House relationships
" Managing a small well–established team
You‘ll have meticulous attention to detail and experience of meeting tight deadlines.
What We‘re Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
" Catalogue/brochure and direct marketing print buying experience
" Understand the print production process including press passing
" Understand reprographics technologies
" Managed relationships with Mailing Houses and Postal suppliers contracts
" Managed a small team
" Be an excellent planner and have a strategic approach
You will come from a print/production background with proven Direct Mail and Catalogue experience with the ability to negotiate the best print costs and deliver on time.
