Print Production Manager
This well–known multinational retailer is in need of an experienced Print Buyer and Production Manager to join the team. The main purpose of the role is to manage the print process for catalogue production, ensuring the finished product meets brand definition, costs and deadlines. You will manage the quality control process ensuring all printed material meets agreed specifications. You will source reliable suppliers ensuring maximum service at the most effective cost to the business.
The Print Buyer/Production Manager is to become an integral part of the team. You will be responsible for:
" Creating a streamlined workflow structure
" Reviewing work schedules
" Managing resource
" Ensuring prompt delivery of projects ensuring accuracy against briefs
" You will have the final sign off of artwork prior to repro/print/production or manufacture
What We‘re Looking For:
With proven leadership skills, you‘ll manage a small creative team, inspire and manage the design process and with meticulous attention to detail you will have the ability to meet tight deadlines.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
" Print buying experience
" To have managed a team‘s performance reviews and appraisals
" Understand the print production process
" To have attended press passes
" Understand colour separation and reprographics
You will come from a production background with some catalogue experience and the ability to check artwork before it goes to print answering any questions regarding the print process.
