currently have an opportunity for a Artworker to join their central Marketing and Design team in Leeds city centre. They are currently working on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office.
Job Description:
Working within the creative team, you'll be the more Technical Artworker supporting the Creative Artworker, Designer and Senior Designer on all the print material. This will include artwork of pitch documents, brochures, newsletters, graphs, tables, e-invitations, reports and presentations for a range of clients.
You'll be responsible for developing InDesign templates and creating branded primary images and will adapt former print materials into interactive, digital based literature. You’ll be responsible for Image retouching and manipulation and will be experienced in die-cut creation and print production set-up
As Artworker you’ll present best practice and new techniques to the wider team, working seamlessly with the designers to deliver high value tenders, amending a variety of existing materials.
What we’re looking for:
You'll have a diverse portfolio which demonstrates proficiency in similar material and shows a great attention to detail.
With an eye for design and layout we'd expect you to be fully proficient in Adobe CS and if you have knowledge of After Effects and/or Animate this would be preferred but not essential. Experience of developing digital materials including interactive and dynamic PDF’s and an understanding of accessibility standards and best practice is desirable.
You'll have the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure with the ability to deliver final artwork to exact brief specifications. This is an in-house, client facing environment, so you'll be from a similar in-house creative or agency environment.
