We are looking for a UI Designer to join our client's inclusive team. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Manchester that comes with a salary up to £35k.
Launched just over 3 years ago and have enjoyed ongoing success and growth so far from their infancy. They are continuing to expand rapidly and extending their current services across the UK into Europe. Their produce and products are all provided by independent suppliers and they have a full range of products in plastic free packaging.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Work with the Lead UI Designer, UX Designers, and team of developers
- Create and maintain design systems and linked libraries in Adobe XD
- Collaborate with the UX designers
- Translate the wireframes and journeys into high fidelity intuitive designs
- Attend workshops with the UX team
To succeed, you should have experience in a UI design role, creating and maintaining design systems, and working with components together with experience working with user research and personas and the ability to guide a user through a journey.
Other requirements include:
- Proficiency in design, prototyping, and journey mapping tools including Adobe XD
- Responsive design and grid structures
- A solid understanding of the method, theories, and practices/information architecture and usability
- An online portfolio with examples of wireframes, sketches, site mapping, and prototype moc-ups
- Samples of typography and infographics
