This Leeds based Creative Communications Agency has a large team of specialists across digital, film, content and design and work collaboratively with many well-known major global brands. Their work spans across many sectors to create unforgettable brand experiences.

Job Description:

You’ll become part of the Design team, reporting to and working closely with the Design Director. You will work in collaboration with a variety of creative, client services and internal marketing team to produce the highest quality work. As a designer you’ll devise, collaborate and deliver innovative, conceptual design solutions to a highly professional standard applying your complete brand and technical awareness, creativity and expertise to every job,

The main responsibilities include:

Working across a wide range of client brands and internal marketing campaigns, taking full ownership of projects and applying your creative and design expertise. From initial concept through to providing print-ready/screen-ready artwork.

Collaborating with colleagues, marketing and clients to fully understand up front the requirements of the brief, the client’s and our own brand guidelines and technical specifications.

Conducting research, pushing brand guidelines and challenging the brief where necessary in order to produce ideas and designs that will better engage audiences, delivering the message and meet/exceed the expectations of the brief.

Estimating time required to deliver work against agreed specs and adhere to these timings during delivery.

Attending and proactively engaging in meetings including team updates, client briefings, internal briefings, workshops, creative ideas sessions, headspace and project debriefs.

What we’re looking for:

With 3-4 years’ experience in a creative agency or in-house role you’ll have a strong portfolio of work and an expert understanding of the design industry, experiential design, have a photographic art direction eye, production methods and software expertise.

As an innovative creative thinker and keen problem solver, you have a meticulous attention to detail and aren’t afraid to put your ideas forward and challenge the norm to achieve the client’s ambitions.
You are highly organised and can prioritise key tasks, act decisively and adapt in a challenging, fast-paced creative environment, whilst maintaining a cool, positive, professional head when under pressure. As an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you have the confidence to rationalise and present your ideas to colleagues and clients alike.

A strong desire to lead from the front when tasked with the ownership on projects. Mindfully brining yours and others relevant expertise together to deliver creative excellence.
You will be Mac literate, with a strong understanding of Adobe InDesign Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and with a good understanding of MS Word and PowerPoint being preferable.
