We are working with a UK based Charity Organisation who provide education and build schools in various countries, providing poverty and vulnerable children in deprived areas an opportunity to be educated and a route out of poverty.
The company are growing and are now in a position where they need to bring in a Graphic Designer to their team based in Manchester. They are a friendly bunch, really passionate about their work and personality and attitude are key for this role.
As Designer, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing various multimedia applications. You’ll create digital banners, social media content, leaflets, DM, event collateral and annual reports.
You’ll work closely with the other creative who produces the film and video content. You will have some travel and be expected to attend various events and fundraisers, accompanying donors, sponsors, volunteers and fundraisers. This will be in order to ensure images and video footage is effectively captured and processed using the most efficient means.
As the Designer, you will have overall responsibility for managing the design and activation and will play a lead role in collating and compiling designs to meet the purpose of the charity in order to serve both beneficiaries and donors.
What we’re looking for:
As well as your design experience, you’ll first and foremost have a genuine interest in working for a charity and like-minded people in the team.
You’ll be happy presenting your final creative work to stakeholders and taking on board any advice, changes and recommendations to ensure the best solution.
This is a varied role, so we would like to see a portfolio with a mix of print and digital, including banners and social content. You’ll manage the design on the website
If you have video, animation and interactive technology experience then this would be a bonus!
