Fab opportunity for a Senior Creative Copywriter with multi-platform experience to join this Leeds agency who are specialists in creative content production.
They have a full production team working out of their huge production studio and they work with some fantastic brands across retail, leisure, health and beauty and across most disciplines and media.
The Creative team are responsible for conceptualizing and creating content for digital, social, offline, film and photographic media for and on behalf of clients and prospective clients.
Reporting to the Creative Director the Senior Copywriter will work closely with the Creative, Accounts and Production team to develop high quality copy to a client brief, from social posts through brand storytelling to long, web, publication copy and voice overs for film.
The Senior Copywriter will also be asked to craft copy for brand identities, formulate tones of voice and help write compelling pitch decks. The Senior Copywriter is highly experienced with an excellent understanding of best practice in writing for multiplatform content and makes it their business to stay up to date with the latest media developments.
You are inspiring, focused and collaborative while working with a broad range of talent within the creative and production teams. You will constantly develop your technical knowledge to keep up with the fast moving industry and show a willingness to learn and discover fresh ways of communicating through new platforms.
What we’re looking for:
You are a Senior Copywriter experienced in understanding and questioning a brief and getting stuck into the project autonomously. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director and the wider creative team, collaborating with the team of online and offline specialists to help bring their ideas to life with pithy and engaging copy.
You will deliver and influence every piece of copy for each of your clients correctly and on time in conjunction with the Creative, Production and Account teams. Occasionally you will be asked to collaborate, with freelance team members of all creative principles.
At times you will be asked to present to client and you must be confident in articulating your ideas clearly to others.
Skills required include an excellent technical knowledge of the English including grammar, sentence structure etc The ability to craft copy for all audiences in any appropriate tone of voice. You will be equally skilled in writing snappy taglines, corporate long copy and everything in between
The ability to simplify and summarise complex information in succinct and engaging copy. Identify key messages - understand the main thing that you want the reader to feel and do and how
