This leading digital agency specialise in user experience (UX), development and performance marketing. Employing over 150 people across 2 UK offices, they work with some fantastic clients and now have an opportunity for an experienced UX Designer to join their Leeds team.
As a UX Designer you will be involved with all aspects of the user experience lifecycle, so will have strong insight delivery and presentation skills.
Working with the wider teams you will be involved with all aspects of our user experience activities, to create stunning experiences, digital interactions and to champion continuous improvement
You will be involved across the experience research and design lifecycle including:
Wireframes and digital prototype building
Ongoing continuous improvement through user research, experimentation, and testing
Key responsibilities are:
User research and insight generation
Plan/contribute planning and delivery of workshops with clients and external stakeholders
Planning and facilitating usability testing utilising a range of biometrics and neuromarketing methods (training will be provided)
Planning and facilitation of user research sessions - depth interviews, card sorting and other methods
Information architecture creation and testing
User persona research and creation
User story development
Task creation, user flows, journey/experience mapping creation and analysis
Creation of static or interactive prototypes/wireframes in XD (and sometimes Axure)
Interpretation of user behaviour data – knowledge of GA will be of benefit
What we’re looking for:
You will be passionate about researching and unearthing genuine robust user insight to create industry leading digital experiences. Research driven; you will always be able to rationalise your design decisions. You’ll be a creative thinker and problem solver.
The UX Designer role requires a practitioner with a solid portfolio of experience and theoretical background. A good understanding of usability best practices and accessibility will be essential. Experience of usability testing and user research tools and methods is key.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a user experience, information architecture, usability or user research role
We are ideally looking for agency experience along with the ability to work across a wide range of projects. Visual design skills are definitely a bonus but are not the focus of this role.

Due to Covid, the team are currently working remotely, however if preferred, the offices are open for those who want to go in, or you can do a combination of both.
