They are looking for a Senior Publications Manager to join their friendly team based in West Yorkshire.
This is a brand new role within the Publications team, which is essentially to manage the process of both developing and delivering all required off-line material on time, within brand, and to budget whilst managing the critical path process.
Reporting to the Director of Product & Publications, this is a key creative role where you will be responsible for creatively steering the UK direction and ensure that catalogues and mailings deliver the brand concept.
The Design Managers will report in to you and they each have a team of creative designers and artworkers.
All the photography shoots are done in Europe, however your team would get initially involved in selecting models and products for the shoots, to then pass on to the overseas team.
• Work with international teams to brief requirements and decide most appropriate creative and commercial approach for the UK market
• Deliver against financial budgets and critical path, taking corrective action where necessary to ensure optimisation of local spending
• Manage the coherence of the catalogue communication policy, in line with the UK business strategy and international brand communications strategy
• Collaborate with the e-commerce strategy to ensure complete consistency across the brand.
What we’re looking for:
This is a brand new role to look after the department day to day and be involved in coming up with strategy for print and various publications in addition to working with the E-Commerce team. So, we’d like you to have some online/digital experience in addition to your print knowledge.
Negotiating and influencing at international level, this role requires you to have a strong commercial acumen and UK market awareness along with excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills.
You’ll have a proven track record of leading a creative team within an agency or in-house studio and experience of delivering in a results focused and measured environment.
Your background could potentially be from an agency or in-house studio where your role was a Creative Studio Manager, Traffic/Production Manager or Creative Design Manager.
Although the team are currently working remotely, the plan is to be in the office once restrictions are lifted.
