Following acquisition , this UK Retailer have an additional need to bring in a Creative Studio Manager to work on a 12 month contract. You’d be based at their offices in Greater Manchester and would be responsible for the delivery of creative from the studio for a number of core brands.
As Studio Manager you’ll plan, manage, track and deliver all work going through the design studio whilst managing a team of Artworkers and freelancers when required.
You’ll manage production of print and online materials, all POS requests and any ad-hoc tasks for the creative and brand teams including occasional packaging needs.
Managing the internal studio job management system, you’ll translate requests into trackable design briefs on the system.
In summary, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the studio output , consistency of quality of work delivered on time and to brand.
You’ll communicate with suppliers (Model agencies, production companies, photographers, print suppliers, signage contractors etc). and liaise with signage contractors, print suppliers and internal stakeholders.
On the photography side you’ll support ad hoc imagery requests and maintain the image database and will deal with the administrative side of photoshoots.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll have a Creative Studio Manager background and will have experience in print, POS, large format, digital and signage production.
Clearly, a strong communicator, organised, positive and calm under pressure and a relationship builder who is customer focussed.
We’d expect you to be proficient in Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Excel and Word, Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
