If you love the written word and have experience of bid/tender writing but are longing for something more exciting then this newly created role could be for you!
As part of a growing and evolving B2B business you'll work with the wider team to get a deep understanding of all of the different products and services with a view to being able to develop messaging to promote this to prospective customers. You'll work on identifying potential bid opportunities and manage the bid process, including the creation of creative supporting documents, bespoke to the bid. You won't be expected to design the documentation as they have a design team, but you will write the content and coordinate the process. There is also a large project to be carried out as part of this but with wider implications around creating a tone of voice and brand personality for the business. This won't be achieved over night but you'd be instrumental in developing this to help them better communicate who they are, what they do and why a business would choose to work with them.
What We're Looking For:
This role isn't for a typical bid writer, we're looking for a creative writer who happens to have experience of writing content to win new business! Some exposure to bids, tenders or proposals is necessary. You'll need to be dynamic and eager to join a business which is evolving. Their offices are located between Wetherby and York so being a driver would be advantageous (easily commutable from Harrogate too). The salary level is broad as the client wants to find the best person – the salary offered will obviously be dependent on experience.
If you think this role would suit you, please apply via the link below or call Nadia Hemmings on 0113 2469605 for a confidential discussion about the position.
We respond to all CVs so you will hear back from us within the next couple of days.
